Angry Feminists Are Making Life Intolerable!

Updated: Jun 16, 2023

There is a 4 word question I’m considering having as a litmus test for whether I want a person I meet to be my friend or not; if they say they aren’t, they can stay, if they say they are, they have to go. What are those 4 words you ask? They are: ‘Are you a feminist?’ Because I’m not a feminist, and I’m proud of it! Yes, I’m a woman who believes in ‘equal rights’, of course, ‘equality’, ‘equal pay’, etc. I’m just not rabid about it. And since I’m actually educated and not simply emotional, I know it’s already the law, and all I have to do is to ensure that my employer or community enforces it. Much like unions and affirmative action, ‘feminism’ or ‘first wave feminism’ to be exact, had its value and its place. Those fighting for the right for women to vote, the right to own property, etc., were taking on a righteous cause, and have my respect, though I have to wonder if giving women the right to vote is a good thing sometimes, when I see them behave, (and I’m only half joking here) but still, it was right and good. What has happened, however, is that the ‘feminism’ movement has morphed into something altogether different, and in its current manifestation, from its man-hatred to its radical abortion position, obscene. And it’s affecting society in a negative way. From our educational system to our societal norms, radical feminism, along with the ascendancy of far-Left socialists, are transforming our culture in a way that we don’t yet understand, and therefore can’t assess the implications of this society. Ironically, one of those outcomes is that America voted for Trump, which is of course one of the reasons feminists are so angry. They were supposed to get a woman in power, who was as radical a feminist as they, who was going to change the system. I won’t go into the Trump phenomenon, as I’ve written much about it already, suffice it to say that his Alpha Male versus their feminist freakout will be a battle for the Ages. Back to the ladies though. In reality, how are things so bad for women in America now? What is there that women can’t do that we need new laws for, other than, say, kill your baby after it’s born? Of course, they’re working on that, as we saw from ol’ blackface ‘keep em comfortable’ Northam. There is such a push to address ‘women’s issues’ that it’s creating an imbalance in our society, from education to health, and if we don’t acknowledge and correct it, might create problems that would take a generation to recover from. In higher education, for instance, according to an Atlantic article – ‘Where men once went to college in proportions far higher than women—58 percent to 42 percent as recently as the 1970s—the ratio has now almost exactly reversed…This fall, women will comprise more than 56 percent of students on campuses nationwide, according to the U.S. Department of Education. Some 2.2 million fewer men than women will be enrolled in college this year. And the trend shows no sign of abating. By 2026, the department estimates, 57 percent of college students will be women.’ What are the implications of this shift? First and foremost, that if this trend continues, women could, on the whole earn more than men. That’s not so bad you say? Well, not so fast, because despite their calls for equality, the fact is that women tend not to want to marry men who earn less than them, leading to either no children and less marriage, or more children out of wedlock, which, regardless of income levels, is not a stabilizing norm for society. Add to that that heart disease is now the leading cause Heart disease the leading killer of women. Sorry folks, but that should be a man’s disease, just sayin! Other than the rare species, such as the lioness, where the female does most of the hunting, men are the ‘hunter-gatherers’ of the human species, and in my opinion, the fact that this is the leading cause of death for women shows that things are out of whack in nature. We’re trying to do too damn much as women. In addition to the effects of the modern era of ‘the working mom’ on women, there is an effect on men’s health, beyond the obvious, such as the rise of male suicide and drug addiction, which is that men have increasingly lower testosterone. According to a Reuters article, ‘Testosterone concentrations dropped about 1.2% per year, or about 17% overall, from 1987 to 2004… This means that, for example, a 65-year-old man in 2002 would have testosterone levels 15 percent lower than those of a 65-year-old in 1987. This also means that a greater proportion of men in 2002 would have had below-normal testosterone levels than in 1987.’ The article explains different possible ‘environmental’ or ‘lifestyle’ factors, such as toxins or pollution and obesity and smoking respectively, but I think a legitimate part of it is that feminists are literally scaring the testosterone out of men. It may sound extreme, but if they’re scaring men off of college campuses, what’s to say they’re not scaring their sperm into extinction. That and the skinny jeans. Or maybe it’s the man-buns. Whatever the cause, it’s not good. The modern feminist is so angry no one wants to be around them except other angry feminists. You have Hillary still shrieking 2 ½ years after losing the election like an escaped mental patient. Chelsea Handler used to be really funny, now she’s just a mess whose irrational hatred for Trump literally sent her to therapy. Seriously. A well-educated, intelligent woman had to go to therapy because America voted for Trump. I loathed Obama to my core but I never went to therapy over it. Madonna used to be sassy, sexy and fun, now she just looks like a sad, old female version of ‘Malibu’s Most Wanted’, what puffy cheeks, that stupid grill in her mouth and fake butt implants saying she wants to blow up the White House. By the way, will she ever be called out for cultural appropriation I wonder? You have anti-American, pro-Sharia jackal Linda Sarsour, who has the nerve to criticize Aayan Hirsi Ali, a Somali victim of female genital mutilation who grew up under Sharia and escaped an arranged marriage, saying she (and Brigitte Gabriel) ‘don’t deserve to be women…I wish I could take their vaginas away.” (can you just imagine if a conservative had said something like that? You don’t have to, you know the drill!). Rosie O’Donnell used to be…wait, never mind, she’s always been a rager, no change there. Serena Williams kvetching as if she’s the only mother to ever play professional sports! And The View, good Lord but what an angry bunch! Rarely has there been a person who’s name what more ill-fitting than ‘Joy’ Behar! Get over yourselves girls, things are pretty good for us women in America! From the hypocrisy of calling ‘sexism’ at every turn while demanding that men treat women as ‘equals’, to the failed redos of predominantly-male cast tv and movie shows with all women, (and which no one wanted to see), in the name of ‘gender equality” (Ghostbusters anyone?); to the incessant yelping about ‘toxic masculinity’, feminists have created a dystopian society so intolerable that even some of them are pushing back. Recently, even the Trump-hating (but Harvey Weinstein loving) Meryl Streep said “Sometimes, I think we’re hurt. We hurt our boys by calling something toxic masculinity. I do,” Streep said, per In Style magazine “And I don’t find [that] putting those two words together … because women can be pretty f***ing toxic. It’s toxic people. We have our good angles, and we have our bad ones. I think the labels are less helpful than what we’re trying to get to, which is a communication, direct, between human beings. We’re all on the boat together. We’ve got to make it work.” Amen sister! Though I don’t care for her personally, I always give credit where its due, and she’s completely right! Hopefully others will take heed – liberal women do have sons after all. The quest for ‘a more perfect union’ in America continues, and I’ll never claim we’re already completely there, though, unlike the America-hating Left, I believe we’ve made tremendous progress and are working towards it every day. But there are issues that need to be fixed, such as unjust incarcerations when they exist; exclusionary bias, either racial or gender, (but my solution is merit not quotas; and an overall leveling of the playing field, meaning to defeat this growing nepotism of the ‘elites’ versus everyone else – which again, is part of why Trump got elected. The solution however, is not more anger, rage and emotion, it’s actually less emotion and more common sense. It’s knowing that we women can be our strong accomplished best while still allowing for men to be theirs, that the one does not diminish the other. Hopefully the tide is turning and like most ‘revolutions’ the raging ‘feminist revolution’ will soon burn itself out and repulse even those who’ve been part of it. It might take a while to get there, because like a street cat fight, they’ll hang on as long as they can. Maybe they’ll see the difference between being an angry endlessly dissatisfied feminist and being a conservative woman, who, save a few, tend to be happy, smiling, funny, etc.- Strong but not abrasive, convicted but not insane – and realize they should just try to relax a little, we women in America are doing just fine.
